No words
He opened his notebook and stared at the empty page,
his mind as blank as the sheet before him
the room was quiet, his mind was still,
and now the page he needed to fill
with words and sentences
verbs and tenses
prepositions and possessives
articles and adjectives
conditionals and comparatives
(Oh, and the very best superlatives)
But the page remained blank, his trusty pen wouldn’t run
So he wrote this little verse, and hoped the words would come

I know that feeling! Love the layout of this, Chris 🤗
That feeling of just staring, with a sort of low, background hum in the head and the wall clock ticking it’s way around merrily…
Thanks Ess, I really appreciate that.🤗🤗
Been there. (Haven’t we all?) Well captured. Thanks
Thanks Ron and sorry for the late reply.
