Green numbers

The hand reaches for the button

that flashes the green numbers

counting down the hours

of a night that is endless; and awake,

as I long to fall into sleep,

be it restless and haunted,

sleep it remains.

I envy it.

    i have to wake up early. work starts at 7:30 ugh.. waking up before the alarm.. i hate when that happens.

    I need no alarm, unfortunately. Although if i have a slack afternoon sometimes I’ll put myself to bed for half an hour and THEN I need the alarm…just in case. 🙂
